A city break needs two things: quick access to the sights and a calm place to sleep afterwards. From our apartments in Fürth-Vach the S1 reaches Nuremberg main station in roughly 20 minutes without changing trains, and Nuremberg old town is approx. 14 km away — approximate figures, no guarantee.
A typical three- or four-day city break from here: one day for Nuremberg old town, the Hauptmarkt and the castle; one for the zoo or the Documentation Centre at the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds; and one relaxed day in Fürth with the Gustavstraße or along the Regnitz cycle path, which starts a few minutes from the apartments.
Practical detail: the Fürth-Vach S-Bahn stop is approx. 10–15 minutes on foot, so you can leave the car parked for the whole trip. Public parking spaces are at the building and opposite, free of charge subject to availability but not reservable. In the apartment you have a fully equipped kitchen for breakfast before you set off and a washing machine if the trip runs longer.
The 60 m² suite is right for two travellers, with a separate bedroom and a freestanding bathtub for the evening after a long walking day. The 115 m² residence takes up to 4 guests and has a fireplace and a covered balcony lounge. Bed linen and towels are included, check-in from 2:00 pm, check-out until 12:00 noon.
