Nuremberg is the reason most guests come to the region — the old town, the Hauptmarkt, the zoo, the Documentation Centre at the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds. Staying just outside means calmer evenings and easier parking, while the S1 from Fürth-Vach reaches Nuremberg main station in roughly 20 minutes without changing trains (approximate figures, no guarantee).
The region has more than one city. Fürth's own old town with the Gustavstraße is approx. 6 km away, Erlangen approx. 10 km, and the Playmobil FunPark in Zirndorf approx. 20 minutes by car.
